Story Ideas for Writers
Start with a short phrase. Any short phrase is better than a blank page. Random story starters work because everyone’s life experiences are different, and you never know where your imagination might lead. Sometimes this takes the pressure off of you a bit. Starting something new with little or no expectations can be liberating, which is why I like Provocative Phrase Friday. It reminds me that any phrase can be the start of a new story. The photo is just a fun bonus that gives you another place to start a story. I’m always on the hunt for new content (whether photos or phrases) to keep the story idea generator cranking.
